All hail to grammar guardians

"Social media has spawned a generation of un-Strunk-and-White-ified people who appear to believe that punctuation is optional, that grammar is for the elderly and that ending a sentence with a period is a deliberate act of aggression."


The blame cannot be placed entirely on social media. Apathy and laziness have a lot to do with it as well. Regardless, we do seem to be slipping down the rabbit hole of carelessness when it comes to good writing. Glad to see someone else shares my very visceral feelings about this.
